1st Shift Material Handler/Shipping

Job Description

Join our team as a Shipping Coordinator, where you will play a crucial role in the daily operations within our logistics department. Your main responsibilities will include ensuring accuracy in SAP for part setups and sales orders, verifying all incoming and outgoing shipments, and managing material movements within the plant. You will develop Bill of Materials for each prototype build and assist in various phases of the supply chain, including order receiving, shipment dispatch, billing, and customer service. Additional tasks involve packing out finished goods, material kiting and staging for production lines, providing backup for shipping and receiving, regularly conducting cycle counts, and effectively communicating any shortages and inventory discrepancies. You will also perform other duties as required to support the team.

Work Environment

This role is based in a brand new 40,000 sq ft facility, housing approximately 15-20 team members focused on electric vehicle prototypes. The standard work hours are from 7 AM to 4 PM, with potential for overtime based on business needs. The position offers a competitive hourly rate of $20-22, with a 40-hour work week. This is an excellent opportunity to shape the shipping and receiving processes at our site, in a facility equipped with new systems and technologies.
