Shipping Supervisor

As a Shipping Supervisor at our Cincinnati, OH facility, you play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our shipping processes. Your leadership and attention to detail contribute directly to our success and safety. If you’re a team player with a can-do attitude, we believe you’ll thrive in this role. You will be leading the shipping team on the night shift working 6:30pm – 6:30am on a 2-2-3 schedule with every other weekend off.

This role provides a great opportunity to lead our logistics team and be a key decision maker as well as influencing and building the capabilities of your team members. High performers have opportunities for advancement into other logistics, operations, or leadership areas.

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

• Shipping Support  –  You ’ ll be leading all activities on your assigned shift working towards shipping goals, material changes, and schedules. You will be guiding operators and their activities in the execution of logistics plans (receiving, line supply, and packaging) and working closely with the receiving department.
• Continuous Improvement  –  Focus on our processes and where we can improve. You’ll utilize various tools and all the acronyms that come with continuous improvement, 5S, RCA and LEAN. You will identify opportunities to eliminate cost and/or waste!
• Following Best Practices  –  You will be responsible for assisting with the development of best practices and operating shipping/receiving efforts in accordance with Food and Drug Administration guidelines, GMPs, and Hazard Analysis and Critical Point/Safety Quality Food program guidelines.
• Direction and Servant Leadership  –  Lead and demonstrate your people skills as you provide direction and support to your team of operators.

We’re Looking for Someone With

• High School Diploma or GED with substantial related proven leadership and supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting
• Previous logistics experience
• A strong ability to work effectively with people cross-functionally and at all levels of an organization
