Amazon is seeking a (Senior) Business Analyst to drive large scale projects, programs, and technical initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for converting data into actionable business insights. The ideal candidate is an analysis expert who leverages a variety of data platforms and analytical tools to provide timely, meaningful, and consumable information. They build deep contextual and domain knowledge, and ensure data quality and build scalable tools. They communicate findings with the most effective and influential methods. As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the long-term planning. This role will be responsible for partnering with multiple stakeholders to forecast the business needs for the next 3 years. A critical part of this role is to develop stable models and to be able to take the stabilized models to the next level from an automation standpoint. This role requires exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with Operations, Finance, Recruiting, and HR stakeholders in a high-pressure environment. You will manage a high-visibility program and partner with all levels of leadership to exercise sound judgment where clear guidelines may not exist. Key job responsibilities • Own the development and maintenance of new and existing solution artifacts which are focused on driving efficiency within the business via analysis, metrics and reporting dashboards • Partner with operations/business teams to consult, develop and implement KPI's, automated reporting/process solutions, and process improvements to meet business needs. • Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format. • Prepare and deliver business requirements reviews to the senior management team regarding progress and roadblocks. • Participate in strategic and tactical planning discussions. • Design, develop and maintain scaled, automated, user-friendly systems, reports, dashboards, etc. that will support our business needs. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or other technical field from an accredited university or 2+ years Amazon experience • 2+ years of relevant professional experience conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis • 2+years of experience with Excel including use of lookups and pivot tables • 2+ years of experience with Supply Chain Management concepts, e.g., forecasting, planning, optimization, and logistics
