The selectee for this position will serve as a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN in LOGISTICS SUPPORT DIVISION, NON-TACTICAL VEHICLE BRANCH at Marine Corps Logistics Base, Albany, Georgia.

DUTIES: (not all-inclusive list)

•Identifies reasons for transaction errors and failures and makes appropriate corrections.

•Updates databases with information provided from various sources.

•Retrieves and uses data to respond to issues.

•Searches different areas of databases to extract information to resolve data discrepancies, respond toquestions, provide status, verify information and other related functions.

•Resolves problems by applying regulations and precedent actions and other general guidelines.

•Posts receipt documents.

•Reviews record adjustments for accuracy and completeness.

•Prepares correspondence relating to inventory discrepancies.

•Prepares charts and graphs.

•Maintain files to track information likely to be needed for reports and briefings.

•Uses applications to enter, revise, sort or calculate and retrieve data for standard reports.

•Uses software to provide graphic symbols, charts, and graphs for presentations.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT/ELIGIBILITY

✓ Practical knowledge of supply regulations, policies, procedures, techniques, and methods applicable to assigned support duties.

✓Knowledge of policies and procedures for requisitioning and issuing equipment and supplies.

✓Ability to prepare documents.

✓Knowledge of general office administrative and clerical procedures.

✓Ability to communicate orally and in writing.

✓Ability to use office automation tools and techniques to support office operations.

✓Must be a U.S. Citizen

✓Must be able to pass a background check.

✓Education: Must have High School diploma or equivalent.

THIS IS A DIRECT HIRE ANNOUNCEMENT. This is a public notice.
