Within this role, you'll be an integral member of our esteemed training team, tasked with designing and implementing a variety of engaging training programs that combine the best of both traditional and digital learning methodologies. WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Develops curriculum and delivers formal training programs for audiences of varying levels of sophistication: training programs cover site specified areas such as but not limited to FSMA, EHS, Production, Quality, Maintenance, etc.
  • Executes training on time with allocated resources.
  • Monitors trainee progress during training programs.
  • Evaluates current training materials; makes recommendations to improve training materials in order to improve user comprehension and learning transfer to their job.
  • Identifies and selects appropriate instructional design through numerous modalities meeting the training needs of the organization.
  • Selects and develops testing and evaluation procedures to be used at the completion of training courses.
  • Researches, analyzes, and recommends future internal and external training programs.
  • Administers, maintains and streamlines the external training processes.
  • Educates clients on the training department’s policies and procedures.
  • Participates in developing and sustaining a site Training Calendar and Master Schedule.
  • Connect new information to current processes and learning objectives to create effective training programs.
  • Captures and communicates policy and procedures to outside customers.
  • Identifies and suggests ways to improve/streamline department processes, procedures, interactions, service and financial success.
  • Serves on cross-functional/site teams to support the creation of standard training materials to be used in multiple work locations throughout the Central Valley.
  • Develops training programs and job aids in support of state and DOL registered apprenticeship programs.

 

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of experience in training in an industrial or manufacturing environment reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High School diploma plus 6 years of maintenance or production experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility to include 1 year of training experience in an industrial environment.
  • Training experience that includes developing and delivering instructional content and training programs.
  • Required to occasionally travel between Central Valley and Modesto Operations, and Fresno and Livingston sites to support training programs.
  • Required to lift and move up to 25 lbs.
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
  • Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.


WHAT WILL SET YOU APART:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial System Design, Technical Communications or related degree plus 4 years of training in an industrial environment reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Experienced in using Articulate/Storyline, Captivate or similar programs to create on- line training courses.
  • Experienced in using virtual training platforms such as WebEx or Adobe Presenter.
  • Experience working in the wine or spirits industry.
  • Possesses basic knowledge of wine and spirits products.
  • Experience effectively presenting information and responding to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
  • Skilled in the use of MS Excel and Access basic level, Word and PowerPoint at an intermediate level.

 

COMPENSATION:

  • Hiring Salary Range $32.21 - $48.27
  • Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
