Transportation Analyst

Position Overview

Export Analyst gathers, interprets, and uses complex data to develop commercial documentation for Exporting goods. While reviewing and maintaining compliant international shipping regulations. The Analyst will provide guidance, direction, and oversight to assure adherence to federal export control regulations. Disseminates information and develops procedures to facilitate compliance with export control regulations. The Export Analyst should be comfortable taking actionable steps that will improve processes and optimize results. It's an Analyst's role to assess company and customer needs, review robust information, and analyze it, while looking for trends or areas for improvement. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

- Generate commercial invoices utilizing established systems and process to support business needs

- Work closely with business partners to execute to month end forecast needs by supporting CI creation and validation

- Partner with distribution center shipping teams to ensure customer collections executed to agreement

- Support inter company transfers with CI creation shipping to APAC & EMEA

- Support store commercial documents need when shipping to international customers

- Work with global customs compliance team in streamlining and maintaining exports compliance

- Work with account services to ensure all proper requirements are obtained prior to orders being created in SAP

- Support with providing documentation needed for shipments of samples, fabrics, and misroutes.

- Support the organization with CI process updates and automating of CI generation via SAP

- Assist with special projects and data analytics demonstrating strong analytics and presentation skills

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

-    Details Oriented, with the ability to multi-task 

- Previous working knowledge in commercial invoice/documents generation

- Working experience with exports responsibility and US customs process

- Business Intelligence system knowledge (Qlikview) & (Qliksense)

- PKMS systems knowledge used to generate orders for Exports.

- International logistics knowledge

- SAP knowledge

- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access Database
