Paid Sick Leave Duties and Responsibilities:

· Process customer orders, plan & optimize shipments into loads, tender freight to third-party carriers.

· Update current shipment information Transportation System.

· Provide detailed instruction to various customers & associates from other shifts by phone and e-mail.

· Provide visibility to management and the customer by tracking, process over-sight, auditing, researching and troubleshooting operational issues or functions.

· Complete daily logs and trackers.

· Identify cost savings opportunities during load planning.

· Coordinates with carriers to ensure on-time delivery by tracking trucks for pick-up, estimating times of arrival and delivery, and recovering loads when necessary.

· Provides load exception investigation and reporting.

Minimum Required Qualification:

· Degree in Business or Supply Chain Management preferred.

· 2+ years of experience in Transportation/Supply Chain preferred.

· Relevant/Related Work Experience can be substituted for Degrees.

· Competent with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (vlookups and pivot tables)

· Clear and concise communication skills.

· Coordinates with carriers to ensure on-time delivery by tracking trucks for pick-up, estimating times of arrival and delivery, and recovering loads when necessary.

· Authorized to work in the U.S.

· A good attitude and ability to work in a team setting.

· Able to sense urgency and know when to escalate for assistance.

· Can create and maintain professional relationships with customers and carriers.
