DSI is adding to its ranks in the Atlanta, GA area. Come join our team as a Warehouse & Technical Support Coordinator.

Job Summary

Responsible for customer support and light technical support issues, this role is also responsible for all inventory as it pertains to service and installation, coordinating daily activities of the warehouse to ensure customer satisfaction, and ensure all company policy, vision, and goals are met.

Prerequisites

The Warehouse & Technical Support coordinator has access to client information. As such, character traits of honesty and trustworthiness are essential to this position and must be displayed at all times. Per company policy, potential employees must pass appropriate security clearances and drug testing.

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Driver’s License and Proof of Auto Insurance.
  • Direct customer contact experience preferred.
  • Professionalism must be displayed at all times.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • An understanding of technical logistics and trouble is a bonus.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills

Specific Responsibilities

  • Answer phone/emails for customer service related issues and requests.
  • Pallets (empty) organized and maintained neatly.
  • Set-up and maintain warehouse layout and ensure efficient space utilization.
  • Manage stock rotation, inventory controls, and inventory reconciliation in the Warehouse Management System
  • Coordinate with Admin and Ops on material availability and logistics.
  • Work closely with Project managers on purchasing, transportation, sales, production, and maintenance.
  • Be a resource for technicians in the field to verify signals, remote connections, etc..
  • Preprogram alarm systems, surveillance systems, and other systems to allow for an effective and trouble free installation when the technician is on site.
  • Enforce company policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
  • Partner with Operations regarding policy, procedure, and initiatives
  • Review data for accuracy
  • Maintain filing procedures and accurately follow Standard Operating Procedures for all job tasks.
  • Data entry in Sedona Office, Alarm.com, and other DSI Software’s
  • Must have strong communication skills and be willing to learn.
  • Job awareness and ability to make decisions in real-time.
  • Adhere to all warehousing, handling, and shipping regulatory requirements.
  • Having a good understanding and following DSI’s Code of Ethics and Employee Standard
  • Present oneself in a professional manner through appearance and conduct
  • Develop a working knowledge and leadership role in customer service initiative.
  • Assist TS Mgr. in projects to advance DSI TS in performance, efficiency, and profitability.
  • Promote company values by providing exceptional customer service
  • Take all necessary steps to maintain customer satisfaction of DSI Security Services and quickly resolve customer complaints
  • Maintain positive work atmosphere by interacting with DSI Security Services internal/external customers (including, but not limited to, current customers, clients, vendors, co-workers, supervisors, and management) in a mutually respectful manner.
  • Adhere to the highest standards of ethical business conduct and compliance by acting lawfully, ethically, honestly, and professionally in the performance of their jobs at all times, as well as be in compliance with company policy and procedures as it relates to their job function
  • Ability to develop, maintain, and leave a clean and safe work space/site on a daily basis.
  • Thoroughly familiar with the DSI Employee Handbook. Adheres to all work rules, procedures and policies established by the company, including, but not limited to, those contained in the Employee Handbook.

Valid State Driver's License
