Chipton-Ross is seeking 3 Employee Development Specialists for a contract opportunity in Renton, WA.*This position is 100% ONSITE.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: o Perform as an instructor in specialized content area from one or more of the following areas of Aerospace Skills expertise (Seal, Structural, Electrical, Repair, Functional Test, Quality, Systems, etc.) o Facilitate learning events and knowledge transfer by teaching and team coaching, observing and tracking student performance, adding key insights to enhance the delivery, conducting preparation, delivering and rostering training to satisfy training requirements o Conduct training utilizing a variety of delivery methods and techniques, and customize learning programs, courses, presentations and guides o Emphasize safety precautions to be taken in all training provided o Maintain a positive and productive learning environment, and address any problem behaviors in the classroom promptly in accordance with policies o Perform individual and group assessments, and recommend process and performance improvements o Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide training consultation services o Provide extensive technical assistance in both formal classroom and hands-on training on Manufacturing fabrication, assembly and operations o Conduct testing and evaluation per procedures o Evaluate technical aerospace skills training needs o Develop post evaluation recommendations to determine appropriate training content, objectives and design o Identify and validate training by observing, measuring, testing, reviewing, and analyzing training to ensure that learning objectives are met effectively o Understand regulations and standards, ensure delivery of courseware complies with commercial, government, regulatory and organizational standards and specifications o Collaborate with stakeholders and service providers (e.g., curriculum developers, instructional systems designers, engineers, programmers, strategic learning advisors, etc.) to develop creative training enhancements, guided skills practices, job aids, capstone projects and activities to assist learners during and after training o Support projects designed to produce educational deliverables o Perform ongoing monitoring of stakeholders operating environment and key business measures and objectives o Identify potential issues that impact performanceHARD REQUIREMENTS: If hired, successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment.
REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS: o 3+ years of experience in Aerospace manufacturing o 3+ years of experience working with detailed work instructions or reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings oRegular and predictable attendance is required.DESIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS: o Experience with Structural, Quality, Systems, and other skills o Experience in teaching, coaching and developing others o Professional certification(s) in aerospace manufacturing and lean o Skills and experience in the following areas: - Wing/Spar Structure Assembly - Coaching - Instruction - Curriculum Design - Needs Assessment and Job AnalysisEDUCATION: Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree from an Accredited College preferred, but not required. Typically 6 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience. FULL TIME/SECOND SHIFT WORK HOURS: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
