A well-known manufacturing company in Johnstown, NY is looking for an  Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their team!  This is a permanent opportunity with a local manufacturing company, which has been recognized for its family roots and global distribution! • Location: Johnstown, NY (onsite)
• Pay: $47,000-$52,000/year
• Hours : M-F 8am-4pm
• Direct Hire

What you need to apply

• Associates Degree in Accounting

A Typical Day May Consist Of:

• Follow up on, collect and allocate payments.
• Carry out billing, collection and reporting activities according to specific deadlines
• Monitor customer accounts details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities
• Deduction resolution support; including validating, clearing, researching, and disputing customer claims and clearing valid deductions.
• Validating and researching claims as appropriate, utilizing backup information provided by customers.
• Ensuring required backup for claim is available from various sources as needed to support claim amount and reason
• Achieving weekly deduction resolution targets
