Description: Respond to customer requests for technical assistance (email, phone, video call, or in person) Maintain post-sales services such as Preventive Maintenance contracts Document all repairs and work with equipment using company software Schedule and manage appointments, calls, and meetings Perform configuration and testing of new equipment Maintain a small inventory of service parts and tools at your home-based office location Assist with trade show set up or tear down as required Travel to France to learn manufacture and QC techniques of instruments Additional Skills & Qualifications: Solid mechanical troubleshooting skills, problem solving skills, and ability to understand how equipment works Solid electrical troubleshooting skills and ability to read electrical schematics Chemistry or Biotech experience Ability to use software such as Outlook, MS Office, WhatsApp, MS Team, Zoom Physically able to install and move equipment (using appropriate pallet jack) weighing up to 2000 lbs.
