Automotive Service Technician

Southern Team Automall, Virginias' #1 Volume New Car Dealer is seeking motivated, energetic individuals that are able to learn quickly and start generating results immediately. This full-time Automotive Service Technician position is located in Christiansburg, Virginia. Candidates must be at least 20 years of age and have a valid driver's license with no DUI or reckless driving. We are offering up to a $10,000 signing bonus.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed
• Provide estimates of time needed for additional repairs
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience as an auto technician
• Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
• Fast, eager learner and team player
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Computer skills and willingness to learn new problems
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Candidates must have a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record (no DUI or reckless driving).
• Must be at least 20 years of age
