Pillar Innovations is an Industrial Solutions and Service Company with 15 years of experience in the Energy, Mining, Manufacturing, Industrial Construction, Aggregate, and Renewables Industries. The Corporate Headquarters are located in Grantsville, MD with several offices throughout the country.
As a Business Development Manager, the general role will be responsible for managing the daily execution of the business development strategy, plans, and processes to drive sales, increase revenue, expand markets, and accomplish financial objectives. The Sr. Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key customers throughout the service area. The position will be tasked with identifying and securing new business opportunities through the creation, implementation and execution of a targeted sales and marketing plan, that aligns with the strengths, capabilities, goals and objectives of Pillar Innovations. The candidate will lead and direct a growth plan while representing the core values Pillar innovations.
The Business Development Manager will report directly to the Executive Vice President. The position will require travel, site visits and face-to-face customer meetings and contacts. Most of the travel is expected to be day travel with minimal out-of-town and overnight required. The Business Development Manager will be expected to possess an extensive knowledge of the services and sell these services to prospective customers. The Business Development Manager will serve as a primary customer contact and demonstrate a working knowledge of estimating, procurement, and project management. The Business Development Manager will share in the responsibility of ensuring that customer quotes are accurate, complete, and well presented.
The Business Development Manager will work primarily out of the Knoxville location.
