401k with company match What You Can Expect As a blown in insulation technician, you will be responsible for blowing insulation into exterior walls and attics according to work order, manufacturer, quality and safety guidelines.Your day-to-day 'office' won"t always look the same! However, you can count on the process to provide some consistency: Loading and logging materials onto a truck
Drill and fills from interior or exterior
Hanging insulweb fabric for exterior walls
Loading blown in machines
Erecting ladders and scaffolds
Check netting for areas that may need blocking
Check density in wall areas To Be Successful Valid drivers license clean from major infractions in the last three years
Experience in the insulation and/or construction industry is helpful but not necessary
Able to use common hand tools
Able to work in tight and/or high areas
Able to lift at least 50lbs
Able to climb ladders and scaffolding
Able to work indoors and out in a variety of temperatures
Must be able to wear full-face or half mask during work shift
Must be able to read job instructions and record materials to work order IBP is an equal opportunity employer.
