We're hiring a Shipping and Receiving Clerk for a manufacturing company in Grand Rapids. Pay ranges from $22-$24 /hr depending on experience. Essential Responsibilities

• Receive and unload incoming materials. Compare information on packing slip with Purchase Orders to verify accuracy of shipment. Sort, count, label, unpack inventory when received.
• Inspect shipments for damages or defects; record discrepancies or damages and notify supervisor and purchasing personnel.
• Prepare shipments of products, materials, and supplies as directed. Collaborate and communicate with parts group, service technicians, or manufacturing group involved in shipment of products.
• Process return shipments from customers
• Track, trace and update status of outgoing shipments
• Maintain a clean, organized area.
• Maintain an accurate log sheet of daily moves, scanning inventory and counting accurately
• Engage with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude
• Move and transport materials between departments, manually or using material handling equipment.
• Operate forklift to move skids, crates, large machinery, and various materials.
• Locate parts for production as needed.
• Exhibits behaviors and best practices that are consistent with the vision, values and culture of the company.
• Practices safe work habits to eliminate and control potential safety and health hazards and to maintain a safe work environment.
• Works as part of the team to assure the performance outcome of ESCO Group Inc.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements: -Minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment. Must have a Forklift Operator License and ability to operate material handling equipment
