Developments, Inc. you will collaborate with sales, electrical, fabrication, and production teams on projects, and be responsible for carrying out a variety of engineering duties including designing, researching, and prototyping new concepts.  Your time will be split between your office, our manufacturing and assembly space, and client facilities.  You will also be responsible for maintaining and leveraging the library of design documents from past projects. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Collaborate with sales to review client requests for proposal and develop User Requirement Specifications.
  • Build Functional Requirement Specifications for won contracts and align with purchasing on necessary components to source.
  • Participate in the component and vendor selection process for projects
  • Collaborate with sales, electrical, fabrication, and production teams to ensure final product meets client requirements.
  • Participate in internal, factory, and client acceptance testing processes and contribute to organizational learning and issue resolution.
  • Support installation teams in final product delivery.
  • Finalize documentation and formalize lessons learned commentary.
  • File documentation in line with storage structure and naming convention.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in mechanical engineering, product design, or equivalent in related field.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and organize projects effectively
  • Proficient on MS Office
  • Proficient in CAD SolidWorks
