Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work on-site  with our client in Rochester, NY . Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

• Designs significant components or portions of a functional system to develop or improve products and facilitate manufacturing operations.
• Utilizes CAD equipment to develop primary data and make preliminary layouts, sketches, and notes necessary to present design proposals.
• Investigate and make decisions regarding pertinent design factors such as ease of manufacture, availability of materials and equipment, interchangeability, replaceability, strength-weight efficiency, contractual specification requirements, and cost.
• May manage projects or processes with general supervision.
• Communicate with contacts inside and outside of the department to explain and interpret operational processes, practices, and procedures.
• Recommends enhancements to systems and processes.
• Works to achieve operational targets for specific programs and projects with a moderate impact on departmental results.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $45/hr.

Hours: 9/80 Work Schedule.

Length: Temp to Direct (12 Months).

Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 8 years experience in using 3D CAD (PTC Creo).

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Master's Degree.
• Experience in the design of electronic equipment.
• Experience in the design of industrial equipment or automotive components.
• Experience with AutoCAD.
• Defense/Military electronics packaging experience.
• Familiarity with MIL-STD-810 environmental standards.
• Experience in performing tolerance stack-up analysis HS.
• Good communication skills and enjoys working with others, developing relationships, and sharing knowledge.
• Good Attention to detail.

Additional Information:

• Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
