WE ARE LOOKING FOR A Director Finance - Manufacturing

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES The Director Finance - Manufacturing role

  • serves as a finance business partner to support strategic manufacturing review, drive business planning and forecast and provide meaningful insights on business opportunities and risks
  • will partner with multiple senior stakeholders to support delivery of commercial results
  • is expected to coach, mentor and develop manufacturing finance team, providing career development planning and opportunities

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

  • Driving business agenda through influencing cross functional stakeholders
  • Financial forecast, consolidation and review of US manufacturing performance
  • Budget (incl. capital expenditure) planning and management
  • Financial review and analysis of manufacturing projects
  • Facilitate manufacturing target setting and performance tracking
  • Risk assessment for the business
  • Uplifting financial capabilities within Finance and Operations team
  • Leading a team of manufacturing finance controllers

CAN THIS BE YOUR FUTURE ROLE?

  • Are you comfortable to facilitate strategic discussions for a manufacturing business?
  • Are you comfortable challenging stakeholders from outside of finance functions?
  • Do you have experience managing business forecast and planning analysis?
  • Do you have experience executing business strategy, highlighting risks in a timely manner and drive corrective actions through others?
  • Have you had experience in building business cases & being a finance business partner?

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to articulate financial strategy, results, and forecasts
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills - presentation to senior management team
  • Demonstrate strategic and innovative thinking with strong influencing and leadership skills
  • Ability to effectively work in a fast-pace and ambiguous environment
  • Strong business acumen
  • Ability to tailor communication relative to the style and needs of others
  • Must demonstrate financial responsibility and reliability
  • Experience in driving organizational change
  • Manufacturing finance experience
  • Ability to challenge the status quo as necessary
  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related area

BENEFICIAL

  • Experience in developing and leading cross functional teams
  • Good understanding of US GAAP and IFRS
  • SAP experience in manufacturing
