We are seeking an Electrical Technician to join our team. The Electrical Technician will be responsible for the electrical operations of various industrial manufacturing processes and equipment, ensuring maximum efficiency, production, and quality.
Position Overview: The Electrical Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and components. They will also be responsible for reviewing electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and component placement diagrams. The technician will provide technical support to maintenance teams and ensure that electrical systems are compliant with industry standards and codes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical systems and components.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and component placement diagrams.
- Install, repair, and maintain complex control systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical components.
- Inspect electrical systems, components, and equipment.
- Perform regular maintenance on equipment and systems.
- Respond to emergency requests for electrical repairs.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2+ years of experience in the electrical field.
- Knowledge of PLC technology, Auto-Cad, NEC codes, electrical engineering, electrical circuits, Allen Bradley, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of manufacturing, industrial, and PLC systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
