We are seeking a highly motivated Co-op to join the RNA, Gene Therapy & Delivery Department at Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicines in Spring House PA, where you will collaborate closely with research scientists to optimize viral vector production for Gene Therapy applications. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on lab experience, with a preference for skills in ddPCR , lentivirus, or cell culture. This work plays a critical role in advancing scalable AAV manufacturing, ultimately supporting the development of cutting-edge gene delivery therapeutics. Join our dynamic team and be a key player in pushing the boundaries of gene therapy innovation. Candidate will be required to work in Biosafety level 2 laboratory environment. Tasks will include: • Mammalian cell culture • AAV and Adenovirus production • Performing in vitro assays to qualitatively and quantitatively assess transfection efficacyRequirements: • Legally authorized to work in the US and must not require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future (ex. H1-B, F-1)• Currently pursuing a University degree, completing minimum undergraduate sophomore year prior to internship or co-op start date. • B.S. in Biology, Bioengineering, Virology, or related field • Lab experience in a pharmaceutical industry or academic environment • Strong critical, scientific, and strategic thinking skills allowing individual to work independently • Experience with PCR, ddPCR , mammalian cell culture, and Gel Electrophoresis is greatly preferred Johnson & Johnson is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer.
