Your Responsibilities

 

As a Industrial Robotics - Programmer with John Deere, located in Waterloo, IA, you will...

 

  • Assist in the development, integration and support  of current and future automated manufacturing systems. 
  • Work closely with manufacturing engineers, facility engineers, supervisors and wage personnel to coordinate the design  and installation of new automated systems 
  • Setup device communications using ENET/IP protocols
  • Support CI200 initiatives 
  • Collaborate with the following software programs: FANUC TPP, Roboguide, and Flexsim.

What Skills You Need

 

  • 2 or more years of experience with robot programming (preferably FANUC TPP) 
  • 2 or more years of experience with industrial machine vision systems (2D and/or 3D) 
  • Drawing/Design review process 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft office programs
  • Solid communication, adept at problem-solving and working in team environment.  

What Makes You Stand Out

 

  • 3 or more years of experience working with AutoCAD and/or Pro/E (CREO) 
  • Experience programming Allen Bradley HMI’s/PLC’s (RSLogix) 
  • Controls engineering (electrical and pneumatic) 

Education

 

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Robotic, Mechanical, Manufacturing, and/or Electrical Engineering or related experience.
