Job Description: As an Injection Mold Technician, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient operation of injection molding processes. Your responsibilities will encompass maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing injection molding machines to uphold production standards and product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Set up and operate injection molding machines, molds, and auxiliary equipment according to production requirements.
2. Perform mold changes, including the installation and alignment of molds, ensuring minimal downtime.
3. Conduct routine maintenance on injection molding equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to injection molding processes, including defects, machine malfunctions, and material inconsistencies.
5. Monitor production processes and adjust parameters as necessary to maintain product quality and maximize efficiency.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production operators, engineers, and quality assurance personnel, to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
7. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
8. Document production data, equipment maintenance records, and process changes accurately and comprehensively.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or relevant vocational training preferred.
2. Proven experience as an injection mold technician or similar role in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of injection molding processes and equipment.
3. Proficiency in mold setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance procedures.
4. Familiarity with a variety of thermoplastic materials and their properties.
5. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
6. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
7. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
8. Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.

Pay Range: $30-40/hr

Shift: First shift opportunity from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm.
