Role Description

We are seeking a Junior Formulator to join our team in Miami, FL. As a Junior Formulator, you will assist in formulating and developing new nutraceutical products. This is a full-time, on-site role that offers the opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Food Science, Chemistry or a related field
• 1 - 3 years experience
• Knowledge of GMP regulations
• Familiar with laboratory equipment and all production stages (blending, compression, etc.)
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical formulation principles and techniques
• Understanding of regulatory guidelines and requirements
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication and collaboration skills

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Must be bilingual, with at least a basic understanding of Spanish

Role:

• Conduct ingredient research, vendor communication, feasibility study, prototype development, batch creation, pilot testing, and more.

• Investigate and test source materials for specific components and contaminants.

• Analyze ingredients and formulas, calculate nutritional values, and document results.

• Record and file completed formulas with proper batch documentation.

• Maintain records and manage product testing for industry specifications.

• Collaborate with the executive team to formulate products that meet the criteria at target price points.

• Ensure safety compliance and maintain safety data sheets for all raw materials.

• Efficiently manage and prioritize multiple projects.

• Assist in scaling up new products from lab to manufacturing for commercialization.

• Research vendors, suppliers, and innovative ingredients; stay up to date with industry trends.

• Communicate with vendors and suppliers about ingredients and use cases.
