Machine Operator

Now hiring a Machine Operator for a manufacturing company in Cuyahoga Falls.

1 st shift: 6am – 4pm, Monday – Thursday ($16.50 per hour).

3 rd shift: 8pm – 6am, Sunday – Thursday ($17.10 per hour).

Weekly pay.

The Machine Operator is responsible for operating the mill, extruder, and batchoff machines including setting up, loading materials, and monitoring performance.

Job Duties:

• Read and understand specification sheets.
• Continuous maneuvering and cutting compounds on mills.
• Set up knives and adjust compound thickness as needed.
• Monitor feed and pressures, changing as needed while operating the extruder.
• Monitor batchoff operations including dip levels in tanks.
• Adjust belt speeds as needed.
• Transport compound from mill to conveyor belt.
• Communicate with other operators to ensure daily goals are met.
• Any other task requested by a supervisor.

Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds regularly.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail.
