Schedule: Mon.-Fri. 8:00 am- 4:30 pm

Pay Rate : $21.35- $28.32 per hour

Day to Day Responsibilities of a Machine Operator:

• Receiving devices from mailroom/loading dock and delivering to research area. Devices may be received as pallets which will need to be moved via pallet jack and unpacked.

• Unpacking individual devices, sorting, and segregating devices by type.

• Collect individual device details and search through the internal ticketing system for failure modes and reasons for return.

• Create internal tickets for the device and record provisioning date, failure date, store name and other information pertaining to the device.

• Perform diagnostic analysis by running manufacturer tests, update internal ticket with result, and physically sort based on result.

• Utilization of internal websites to log and diagnose devices.

• Execute prewritten scripts for testing.

• Repetitive motion when testing and logging device information.

• Receiving freight and mail deliveries utilizing mail carts and pallet jack from both mailroom and dock.

• Daily tasks include but are not limited to unpacking, some assembly, testing, repacking, sorting, and recycling packaging waste.

• There is no extensive lifting, standing or walking involved. If over 50lbs assistance will be made available. Daily tasks include but are not limited to unpacking, some assembly, testing, repacking, sorting, and recycling packaging waste.

• Performs troubleshooting and repairs or replaces equipment components as necessary.

Required :

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.

• Technical aptitude to learn the set-up (including the software controls) and operation of digital equipment.

• Excellent customer service skills.

• Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize.

• Ability to use, calibrate and troubleshoot technical equipment.

• Operation of a pallet jack is required.

• No driving is required
