Responsibilities
• Testing and measurement of AC/DC utilities • Understanding electrical schematics • Troubleshooting malfunctioning systems • Communicating effectively with appropriate departments/individuals • Performing necessary maintenance tasks on manufacturing equipment
Requirements
• 2+ years electrical maintenance experience preferred • Knowledge of electrical and mechanical maintenance principles • Working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics • Experience with CMMS preferable • Knowledge of melting, casting, and rolling process preferable • AC/DC motor troubleshooting experience preferred • Proficiency in electrical controls maintenance and repair • PLC troubleshooting experience preferred • Logical thinking and problem-solving abilities • Strong multitasking abilities • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment • Physical abilities: standing, walking, bending for extended periods of time, working from heights • Education: Vo-Tech High school or High school/GED, college, technical trade, and/or military training/education required
