This position manages the daily activities of the Maintenance department for the plant. Work activities include leading the team on electrical and mechanical trouble-shooting and repairs, preparing and managing the department budget, implementing preventative and predictive maintenance programs, and coordinating the Maintenance Stores area and Project Maintenance work activities.

Core Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily activities of the maintenance crews to ensure repairs are performed in a timely and effective manner.
• Prepare, submit, and manage maintenance expense budget line items
• Facilitates repairs and trouble-shooting of production problems on a timely and efficient basis (may require climbing, bending, crawling, lifting up to 50 lb.)
• Implements and maintains preventative and predictive maintenance programs aimed at forecasting potential solutions to constantly improve operating efficiently
• People management of Maintenance Technicians and Planner/Schedulers.
• Communicates with maintenance crews regularly to share relevant plant and departmental information (minimum of bi-weekly)
• Coordinates activities of the Maintenance Planner/scheduler to ensure materials and resources are readily available
  Manages the work order system and provides accurate performance feedback to maintenance technicians

Requirements: 

• Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum of 3 years maintenance supervisory or Project management experience in a manufacturing environment
• Working knowledge of GMPs/OSHA Regulations
• Experience in a food manufacturing facility
• Working knowledge of PLC, instrumentation electronics, and maintenance repair techniques
• Developing and Maintaining of Budget for department
  

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Bachelor degree in an Engineering field (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial)
• Prior knowledge/experience with SAP Purchasing and Work Order System

Salary Range $88,800 - $125,000 USD
Pay is based on several non discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience, education, skills and office location. In addition to your salary, Colgate-Palmolive offers a performance based bonus and competitive benefits package.
