This is a contract position with our key manufacturing client. In this role, you will exercise basic skills in the cleaning and maintenance of distribution center/warehouse machines involving a number of basic related tasks which often follow the same sequence. To be considered for this role, you will have a High School Diploma along with 1 - 3 years of previous maintenance experience. Maintenance Technician Job Responsibilities:

• Receives verbal or written instructions from supervisor and/or other designated plant personnel.
• Exercises basic skills in the cleaning and maintenance of distribution center/warehouse machines involving a number of basic related tasks which often follow the same sequence.
• Such tasks may be performed within a department or across multiple departments.
• Daily routine cleaning duties including but not limited to sweeping, mopping and general cleaning.
• Mowing, weed eating and general outside maintenance. Trash removal, operating a forklift, lifting, and assisting the maintenance department in various job functions as needed.
• Perform other duties as directed including general labor duties.

Maintenance Technician Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 1-3 years previous maintenance experience (preferred)
• Previous experience with side loaders, gas powered lift trucks, forklifts, carts, floor operated overhead crane, skids, scale, various hand tools, chains, hooks, slings, buckets, wood, lawn care equipment, paint can depletion system and cleaning equipment and supplies, etc. (preferred)
• Must meet company requirements for fall protection
• Able to perform efficiently under supervision and direction
• Basic math & measuring skills
• Basic computer skills
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills
• Commitment to safety
