Responsibilities
• Work with production on process improvements • Train employees on facilities capital equipment • Develop employees and fill skill set gaps • Execute cost reduction activities • Research and develop best manufacturing processes • Determine proper tooling and equipment for assembly processes • Continuously improve manufacturing processes • Identify areas of continuous improvement • Oversee updates of documentation and training • Complete special projects
Requirements
• Experience in manufacturing engineering • Knowledge of six sigma and lean principles • Ability to analyze and plan workflow • Strong communication and collaboration skills • Experience in developing training programs • Knowledge of standardized work • Ability to propose fixtures for production activities
