Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance Technician

Nesco Resource has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Technician in High Point, NC This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity with a leading global organization. This is role is an overnight opportunity to work 7 PM – 7 AM on a rotating 36 and 48 hours per week, Night shift, $30-$34/hr a 6% shift differential!! Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot & support manufacturing and facility equipment.
• Assist in the installation and maintenance of utility systems and equipment components for electrical power distribution, instrumentation, and controls, electrical machinery, responsible for knowledge of codes and standards.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance
• Identify and address any unsafe conditions related to electrical safety, shielding and guarding, safety interlocks, and emergency stops.

• A High School diploma or equivalent is minimally required.
• A minimum of 2-4 years of technical mechanical and/or electrical experience or a combination of experience and education.
• Minimum 2-4 years of related maintenance experience and/or combination training in the following trades: electrical, electronics/controls.
• Allen Bradley PLC experience is a plus.
• Other equivalent electrical experience may be considered, but only with a proven record of self-development and continuous learning.4 years related to automated equipment experience.
• Experience with control and power wiring. Experience with low and high-voltage power.
• Ability to work well with minimal direction and within teams.
• Ability to use hand and machine shop tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interpersonal interactions.
• Proven solid understanding of mechanical, pneumatic, lubrication, electrical systems, and industrial automation.
• Capable of troubleshooting automated equipment, electronics, sensors, motors, servos, and pneumatics.
• Position will require working in a wide variety of environments including office, laboratory, hazardous chemical production, cleanroom, general production, and warehouse, occasionally outdoors around the site, on roof-tops, in mechanical spaces, interstitial spaces, etc.
