Title: Manufacturing Proposal Engineer

Salary: $65,000 - $85,000

Location: Irwin, Pennsylvania

This position is responsible for creating capital equipment, tooling, and aftermarket upgrade cost estimations and proposals. Additionally, this position will assist in the oversight and coordination of all activities related to fulfilling customer orders for tooling build projects and aftermarket upgrades effectively and efficiently. Other responsibilities include providing engineering support to the technical sales department.

Follow all company policies and procedures. Strictly adhere to the quality policy and procedure, as well as the protection of company property. Participate in training as required by the company. All company documentation must be maintained accurately and timely. Work must be performed in a safe and efficient manner including maintaining a neat and clean work area. Perform any additional assignments, duties, and responsibilities as may be requested.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

· Bachelors’ Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience

· One - two (1-2) years’ experience in an engineering role in an industrial company

· Skills & Experience with engineering design is required (Pro Engineer, Solidworks, AutoCAD)

· Knowledge of MS Office applications

· Excellent written and oral communication skills

· Strong attention to detail

· Self-starter, able to work with limited direction in an office environment

· Socially highly competent, with the ability to work with everyone from different functions and departments

Job Duties

· Receive and review requests for quote (RFQ) and work with the sales, feasibility, engineering, service, operations, and shipping departments to create cost estimates and detailed proposals for capital equipment, tooling, and aftermarket upgrades.

· Support Technical Sales and Applications in analyzing applications to help determine which model machine and tooling concept is required to improve chances of success

· Project Management of Tooling & Aftermarket Projects
