Pay Rate: $32.00 - $34.00

Shift: 6:30am – 7:00pm (2-2-3 Scheduling)

  **What’s a typical day as a Manufacturing Technician?**

• Responsible for setting up repairs, rebuilding and installing production equipment to insure continuous production of all products.

• Repairs malfunctioning production equipment, i.e., fillers, conveyors, drives, coolers, palletizing, and boxing components.

• Installs new equipment or replaces equipment as required and sets up line for product changeovers as required.

• Troubleshooting and reducing downtime due to equipment failure.

• Assists with the training of operators to recognize and report potential equipment malfunctions and failures as well as to ensure knowledge and assist with preventive maintenance.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Technical School preferred.

• 2+ years of experience as a line mechanic in a high-speed production environment; Food manufacturing/bottling preferred.

• Must be self-motivated with a high sense of urgency and possess the ability to work with limited supervision.

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and TPM principles preferred.

• Ability to use machine shop equipment, hand tools, power tools and test equipment.

• Ability to read mechanical diagrams.

• Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic controls and components.

• Experience in pipe fitting, welding, and machining
