TITLE: Manufacturing Technician

SCHEDULE: Training will be 5 weeks M-F 8:00am-4:30pm for training purposes. 30-minute lunch.

• Team C: Night Shift (4:15pm – 4:30am, Sun – Tues [rotating Wed]) (15% Differential)

PAY:

• 0 – 1 year of experience working within a GMP environment:

o $20/hour starting rate.

o $22/hour if converted to FTE

• 1 - 3 years of experience

working within a GMP environment:

o $22/hour starting rate.

o $24/hour if converted to FTE

• 3 years of experience working within a GMP environment:

o $24/hour starting rate.

o $26/hour if converted to FTE

DESCRIPTION:

The manufacturing technician is responsible for the aseptic handling and removal of medical waste, manufacturing waste and biohazardous waste. Incumbents should be trained to aseptic technique while working with bio-hazardous material.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for maintenance of raw material on site. Order, Receive, Stage, and Store production supplies from warehouse and vendors.

• Conduct cycle counts and sustains accuracy of materials and Items.

• Responsible for maintenance of frozen tissue inventory and transfers.

• Responsible for the execution of the Ebeam Out process.

• Position involves operating simple/ complex processing equipment, ie: SealTest Equipment, Band Knife Grinding machine, lifting equipment and pallet jacks.

• Receive, stage, store production supplies and lift a minimum of 45 lbs.

• Store and maintain Human tissue in -80 degree freezers.

• Follow instructions of the Group Lead/ Supervisor daily.

• Demonstrate steady progress and a willingness to learn all equipment and job task in the assigned manufacturing.

• Maintaining the sanitization and cleanliness of the manufacturing area required.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Demonstrated attention to detail.

• Demonstrated oral and written communication, critical thinking, basic arithmetic, and proper business etiquette skills.

• Position involves frequently sitting, walking, stooping, squatting, kneeling, stair climbing and can use fine motor skills to perform the responsibilities required of this position.

• And the ability to lift a minimum of 45 lbs.
