Master Distiller

One of our clients in manufacturing is confidentially seeking a Master Distiller for their high end distillery facility! Located in the beautiful Southern Tier, NY area hugging the PA border! They are committed to providing the highest quality products and safe and supportive working environment! The ideal candidate would have experience with the entire process of distilling. Responsibilities:

• Direct and supervise the distillation process, ensuring that it adheres to established standards and yields high-quality spirits.
• Monitor fermentation, distillation, and aging processes to maintain consistency and integrity in the final products.
• Managing staff and overseeing the day-to-day operations.
• Ensure that the distillery is in compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Responsible for hiring and training staff, managing inventory, and maintaining equipment.
• Distillers are highly skilled professionals who deeply understand the chemistry and physics involved in whisky production.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years experience.
• Experience with whiskey is a plus.
