Kelly Services has partnered with a growing medical equipment distributor to find Mechanical Installation Service Technicians! We are looking for candidates with a mechanical aptitude and background who reside in Las Vegas, NV, Aurora, CO, and Hoboken, NJ and are open to traveling 100% of the time.

The Mechanical Installation Service Technician will be responsible for installing and de-installing high-value complex equipment in various settings, including but not limited to hospitals, universities, and federal buildings. These are direct hire opportunities, meaning you will be hired permanently with our client and offered their benefit and vacation package upon hire!

Details and Job Responsibilities:

  • Travel extensively throughout the country, up to 100% of the time

  • Assist the Team Leader in coordinating suppliers and directing on-site equipment deliveries

  • Deliver a safe and timely installation to the customer

  • Maintain the integrity of confidential information

  • Build and maintain customer relationships, following company standard operating procedures and policies, as well as customer requirements and regulatory guidelines

  • Adhere to all safety guidelines set forth by OSHA

  • Create and maintain a safe work environment through the practice of safe work practices

  • Assist the Team Leader in maintaining documentation in accordance with company standard operating procedures and customer requirements

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record

  • Mechanical, automotive, or HVAC background

  • Ability to read electrical schematics preferred

  • Possession of own hand tools for use during job assignments and at job sites

  • Ability to read and interpret safety requirements, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

  • Capable of writing routine reports and correspondence

  • Proficiency in basic mathematical operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)

  • Ability to read and understand metric and standard measurements, as well as use leveling methods to complete related work activities

  • Excellent communication skills, punctuality, and courteous behavior in accordance with on-site etiquette

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Excellent manual dexterity, ability to use both hands and fingers effectively

  • Strong hand-eye coordination and ability to work on ladders

  • Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs of cables or equipment

  • Monitor safety and environmental conditions within designated facilities and promote awareness among the on-site team
