The Supply Chain Lead will be looked at to optimize the supply chain through developing and executing comprehensive commodity strategies that drive quality, cost and delivery that align with company goals.

The ideal Supply Chain Manager  will have the following expertiseet/practice:

»Familiarity with ERP systems and advanced procurement tools

»Strong knowledge of LEAN Manufacturing principles and how they apply to procurement

»Knowledge of vendor performance metrics

»Must be able to collaborate with internal engineering team and vendors

»A strong Mechanical Engineering background would be a plus

»Basic knowledge of Hydraulics and Control components

»Strong Negotiation expertise

»Proven practice in strategic procurement in a manufacturing or automation solutions industry

The Supply Chain Lead will have the following responsibilities:

»Optimize supplier interface to streamline operations

»Negotiating framework agreement with key vendors and suppliers

»Develop collaborative relationships and strategic plans with key suppliers

»ID Cost reduction opportunities

»Some travel to vendors and customer’s sites as required
