Operations Manager

Seeking an Operations Manager to drive excellence and optimize processes in metal extrusion manufacturing. This role is pivotal in enhancing productivity, quality, and efficiency.

• $110,000 - $150,000 depending on experience.

Operations Manager Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations at the Mexico Production Plant to improve manufacturing processes.
• Manage performance metrics, inventory, and budgeting processes.
• Lead process and lean manufacturing improvements.
• Ensure quality control in collaboration with the Quality Manager.
• Maintain strong relations with customers and suppliers.

Operations Manager Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree from a reputable school in Operations Management, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in Operations Management, ideally with a background ready for development towards COO.
• Experience in Nonferrous Metals industry preferred; metal extrusion experience a plus but not required.
• Familiar with ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016, CNC operations, and ERP systems.
• Occasional travel to Laredo-Texas border and annual international trips.
• APICS certification and Spanish proficiency beneficial.
