Job Description

Set up, clean, and maintain processing equipment, utensils and processing rooms as needed according to department needs.  Weigh and measures materials to comply with SOI’s parameters and prepares solutions as needed. Visually inspects product during each processing step. Perform the necessary tasks according to cGMP’s and company SOP’s while following SOI instructions and completes all pertinent documentation accurately and legibly.

Level of Authority

Within the scope of job responsibilities and Manufacturing department.

Travel Requirements

Infrequent domestic travel required. Less than 5% of time to local facilities.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities    

  • Complete in-process monitoring requirements as per SOP's to ensure high quality products.
    • Performs the follow granulation department duties.  Here are the details:
    • Set up, clean, and maintain processing equipment, utensils and processing rooms according to departmental needs.

    • Weigh and measure materials to comply with SOI parameters 
    • Responsible for completing all pertinent documentation accurately and legibly 
  • Ensures required routine paperwork is completed in accordance with cGMPs. Completes log book entries; operation and cleaning in a timely efficient manner.
  • Performs major equipment cleans.  Ensures no foreign product remains on lie, i.e. in hoppers, heavy machinery, parts or floors.
  • Uses computer to review SOPs and to obtain training.
  • Follows Teva’s Safety, Health, and Environmental policies and procedures.  Performs other duties as assigned or required by business needs.

Qualifications

Education Required:    High school diploma or GED.
Individuals with equivalent combination of education, training and related experience will be considered.
Company-Related Knowledge:    Knowledge of applicable SOPs and cGMPs.
Physical Requirements    May be required to lift/move up to 70 lbs.
Not allergic to cephalosporins, chemicals or biosubstances found in laboratory or production facilities.
