Parts Picker

Purpose:

To pick and deliver manufacturing orders accurately, on time and in a professional manner.

Duties:

• Receive and check pick lists for manufacturing order
• Locate products using MRP systems
• Retrieve orders according to quantity, size, etc. ensuring accuracy and quality of material are satisfactory.
• Build pallets with orders and position them to loading docks.
• Re-stock inventory manually or with warehouse equipment.
• Keep records or completed orders.
• Maintain equipment and report on malfunctions
• Adhere to health and safety policies and quality standards

Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 70 to 90 lbs.
• Experience or certified in handling forklifts, pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment
• Excellent computer skills (System transaction, websites)
• Print interpretation
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to communicate and work well with co-workers and internal teams
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers.

Education

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
