Plant Finance Manager

LaSalle Network has partnered with a manufacturing company to hire on a new Plant Finance Manager to their growing team!  As the Plant Finance Manager , you will play a crucial role in overseeing all financial aspects of our client’s manufacturing operations in Elgin, IL. You will work closely with various departments to analyze financial performance, develop budgets and implement strategies to optimize profitability and efficiency. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to effectively communicate financial insights to senior management. Plant Finance Manager Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all financial activities for the plant, including budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting
• Analyze financial performance and key metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed
• Develop and maintain accurate financial models to support decision-making and drive business growth
• Collaborate with operations and production teams to optimize manufacturing processes and reduce costs
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies
• Provide strategic guidance and support to senior management on financial matters
• Lead and develop a team of finance professionals to achieve departmental goals and objectives

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field; MBA or CPA preferred
• 8+ years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make sound business recommendations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to inspire and motivate team members
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software applications
• Knowledge of GAAP and experience with financial reporting requirements
