The Plant Manager is responsible for managing the overall production activities of the plant, including productivity, safety, quality, maintenance, and associate engagement. The Plant Manager ensures a consistent production volume that meets the market’s production demands and quality standards in a manner that is consistent with ImageFIRST’s operating principles.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma required, Bachelor’s degree preferred in a related discipline; a minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing management.
- Solid working knowledge of Lean production management and quality integration concepts and a proven track record of change implementation are required. Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment with production, purchasing, engineering, sales, quality, finance, human resources and other stake holders within the organization to achieve overall company objectives required.
- Must possess excellent organization and time management skills and the ability to provide leadership, supervision and training using positive supervisory techniques to ensure maximum productivity; must be self-directed.
- Experience with production scheduling and quality control systems is required
- Must have knowledge and understanding of financial systems and ability to understand and analyze financial statements.
- Must have an understanding of Key Performance Indicators and the ability to establish and implement plans to drive results.
- Exceptional oral, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and instruct others, interpret documents, understand procedures and write reports.
- Strong process orientation: Detail oriented, logical and methodological approach to problem solving; must have the leadership skills necessary to direct employees toward production goals and determine how to correct problems quickly to minimize the loss of production time.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook.
