Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION . This National Guard position is for a POWERED SUPPORT SYSTEMS MECHANIC T32, Position Description Number PDD0324000 and is part of the AZ 161st Air Refueling Wing, National Guard. Responsibilities This position is located in Phoenix, AZ with the 161st ARW . The primary purpose of this position is to accomplish maintenance on electronically controlled powered support equipment containing highly complex digital devices and integrated circuits. THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION . NOTE : Individual selected will receive an Indefinite Appointment and may be converted to permanent based on availability of funds or position no longer being encumbered. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Military Grades: SSgt/E5 Compatible Military Assignments: Must possess the AFSC 2A6x2 GENERAL EXPERIENCE : Experience or training which demonstrates the knowledge of mechanical maintenance work; ability to read and use technical manuals, illustrations, diagrams and schematics, and skill in the use of equipment and hand tools used in troubleshooting, testing, and repairing equipment. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE : Must possess 36 months experience or training removing, adjusting, replacing, cleaning, and installing parts, components, and accessories. Experience which provided working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic theory applying to powered support equipment and systems; and skill to replace, fit, install, and make adjustments. Experience which provided working knowledge of the makeup and operation of the various individual systems maintained and their interrelationships. Experience reading and interpreting parts lists, manufactures’ repair manuals, diagrams, and electrical schematics. Experience troubleshooting and correcting equipment malfunctions. Education You must provide transcripts or other documentation to support your Educational claims. To receive credit for Education, you must provide documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position.
