Gpac is currently working with a client south of Raleigh, NC, who is seeking a Manufacturing Process Improvement Engineer for their food production facility. An ideal candidate should have previous experience in a food manufacturing environment, with a background in lean manufacturing and CI as this person will be responsible for conducting process improvement initiatives aimed at improving their manufacturing processes, reducing losses, and reducing costs. Qualified candidates should have the following: 4 year engineering degree Lean manufacturing experience Green belt/black belt a plus 7+ years experience in high volume process based food manufacturing Experience working on CI initiatives aimed at improving their manufacturing processes, reducing losses, and reducing costs.
