Process Technician

Process Technician – Plastics Manufacturer – Base Salary to 38.00/hour – Schaumburg, IL

• Our client is a leading plastics manufacturer. They are well established and have been in business for well over 80 years.
• The Process Technician will be responsible for doing set ups, change overs, and mold changes in a plastics manufacturing environment. There are 1st and 3rd shift openings available for this opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Set up new orders and get parts running to print.
• Changeovers and tooling cleanouts and storage and mold changes.
• Set up new product runs and do trials.
• Involvement in start ups and shut downs as well as troubleshooting.
• Continuous improvement
• Monitor the bottle production line and ensure continuous flow of bottles throughout production.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of plastics experience in plastics doing set ups and change overs (prefer injection molding or blow molding).
• Experience maintaining auxiliary equipment.
• Strong technical and mechanical skills.

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 25.00 – 38.00/hour range
