POSITION OVERVIEW: Under the direction of the Continuous Improvement Manager, this position is responsible for the development, improvement and adherence to manufacturing processes on the floor in the manufacturing departments.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES: Audit processes, centerline sheets, and startup/shut down sheets for compliance Collect and analyze data on line performance for process improvement and problem solving for downtime reduction Assist with key loss point analysis Assist Engineers with the development of new procedures and edits to existing procedures and validate temporary procedure changes Coordinate TPM activity and participate in cross-functional team meetings Act as a training resource for new or updated procedures and for validation of job-in-series upgrades

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Acceptable attendance. Meets standards in overall performance rating in most recent performance review. High school diploma or equivalent At least 1 years of packaging and production experience. Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and correct problems on a variety of equipment Strong analytical ability Demonstrated experience in Excel and PowerPoint Proven ability to train and lead others. Demonstrated process improvement ability and leadership skills Strong interpersonal skills Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in written form Ability to work overtime/weekends Ability to work cross functionally in a team environment
