The Opportunity
This permanent position will report to the Supply Chain Manager. As a Sr. Procurement Agent, you will:

• Drive operational excellence and productivity in site Planning and Procurement processes. 
• Lead business unit level project management and system integration activities for procurement. 
• Serve as the subject matter expert for all processes impacting planning material requirements and purchase order execution. 
• Lead on-site procurement activities and support Category Management’s strategic vision. 
• Manage orders to ensure fulfillment meets the needs of the production schedule. 
• Support customer projects and new product commercialization efforts. 
• Lead change projects that deliver continuous improvement to service levels and cost-effectiveness.

The Skills you will bring to the team

• Bachelor’s degree or APICs Certification recommended. 
• Lean/Six Sigma certification of benefit. 
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Procurement or Supply Chain roles. 
• Procurement experience in food manufacturing or pharma industries is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and in written form.
• Experience in SAP or similar ERP is required. 
• Proven ability to operate autonomously across multiple teams in a matrix organization. 
• Strong ability to lead teams with or without direct reports, natural leader and motivator, lead through influence. 
• Engage in process measurement development, compliance, key performance drivers, improvement.

Where and how you will work  
The opportunity will be based in Mooresville, IN with hybrid working arrangements (3 days onsite) through our Smart working model which allows you a greater choice in how you work and live, giving you a better work-life balance.  Minimal travel required (up to 15%) and depends on business needs.
