Production Manager

Position Overview: The Production Manager Chemical Manufacturing, is responsible for overseeing the production of chemical products in a safe and effective manner. The Production Manager will ensure that the production process meets all safety and environmental regulations and that the finished products meet all quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure production of chemical products meets all safety and quality standards.
• Oversee production process, including chemical mixing, batch processing, and chemical reaction.
• Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to all safety regulations.
• Ensure product meets customer specifications and delivery deadlines.
• Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as required.
• Train and coordinate production personnel.
• Develop and implement Lean Manufacturing techniques.
• Analyze production data and optimize processes as needed.
• Troubleshoot production issues and resolve them promptly.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in chemical manufacturing in a leadership role.
• Thorough understanding of toxic chemicals and their properties.
• Familiarity with handling liquids, gases, solids, mixers, and tanks.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
