Production Scheduler

ITS has a client in the Delta, OH area seeking a Production Scheduler. This is a direct hire role with full benefits including 401k.  Position Summary
To ensure our goods are produced on time for distribution in a profitable, calmer, effect manner. An excellent production planner is well-versed in production procedures and ways to optimize them. They are organized and results-driven with great problem-solving skills. Advanced communication and computer skills are preferred for the role. Essential Duties/Responsibilities
• Foster a culture of safety awareness and safety prioritization.
• Coordinate production workflow for one of multiple products
• Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay
• Determine Client, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand.
• Assign workers and other staff to particular production operations
• Schedule shift according to production needs.
• Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget
• Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption
• Obtain output information (number of finished products, percentage of scrap etc.).
• Prepare and submit status and performance reports.
• Keep paperwork organized
• Collaborate with quality control, warehouse, and other staff.
• Perform any other tasks or duties as assigned by the division management team. Job Requirements
Education
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Technical/Vocational Training a Plus
Experience & Certifications
• Experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment preferred.
• Proven experience as a production planner.
• Forklift/Overhead Crane Certified preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles
• Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems
• Good at math and statistics
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication abilities
