Position Overview: The Production Scheduler is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the production and manufacturing processes of the organization. The Production Scheduler will be in charge of planning and scheduling production, managing inventory levels, and overseeing production supervisors. This position requires a highly organized individual with excellent problem-solving and communication skills
. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage production schedules, including planning, organizing, minimizing downtime, and ensuring on-time delivery.
- Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demand and maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Create and maintain accurate production records and reports.
- Monitor production performance and adhere to production goals.
- Ensure production is performed in accordance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Supervise production supervisors and provide guidance and direction.
- Identify areas of improvement and recommend cost-effective solutions.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of production/manufacturing experience.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).
- Load versus capacity planning experience.
- Ability to supervise and lead a team.
