SUMMARY:
The Production Floor Supervisor oversees and organizes the order fulfillment and preparation of products for customers by monitoring production activities. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Communicates job expectations; monitoring, and appraising job results; enforcing systems, policies, and procedures for assigned production employees.
• Maintains workflow by monitoring processes, personnel, and resources.
• Works closely with production planner by scheduling and assigning personnel; establishing priorities and monitor progress.
• Ensures operation of equipment by trouble shooting and escalating, as necessary.
• Provides analyzing production performance data.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating personnel on established policies and procedures.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge of new processes as rolled out.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Five or more years of experience in a production role where accuracy is critical, and written direction is adhered to.
• Two or more years of experience in a leadership role with direct reports.
• Two or more years of experience in driving both standing and sit-down fork trucks. PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Associate Degree preferred. SKILLS, ABILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:
• Safety conscious.
• Able to analyze and report on daily, weekly, monthly activities.
• Able to deal with complex system requirements.
• Excellent time management, deadline oriented, organized with strong work ethic.
• Able to operate a pallet jack and drive a forklift, both stand-up and sit-down models with ability to train staff.
• Understands process of, and be able to perform, baseline testing of technology components; disinfecting and cosmetic prep of technology devices for re-packaging; packaging and an in-depth working knowledge of production operations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
